Description

Project that promotes entrepreneurship initiatives and linkages between the University of Costa Rica and the private sector. The UCR Helix Program seeks, through the implementation of the innovation model of the quintuple helix, to accelerate the realization of research, development and innovation partnerships with the productive sector and the creation of knowledge-intensive companies, in order to contribute to economic growth and national welfare, through the activation of productive chains with social responsibility. The program includes support for innovative projects to take advantage of waste from the production of coffee, pineapple or sugar cane and turn them into high value-added products, which are part of the proposals selected in the first stage of the UCR Helix Program. In this call, a total of 19 projects will receive support and funds for USD 2,000,000.
