Description

The Program for Building Resilience in Rural Areas of Belize (BE Resilient) cover the national territory and benefit 6,000 households: 3,500 in communities located in priority areas and 2,500. The beneficiaries are small farmers and women farmers from the selected rural communities. 40% of the beneficiaries of the program are women and another 20% are young people. The proposed program has two components that complement and reinforce each other: -Promoting value chains resilient to climate change and -The development of infrastructures and rural assets also resilient to climate change
