Support program for small producers for the purchase of inputs through financial instruments.

Through this programme, support will be granted to small producers for the purchase of fertilisers and balanced feed for animal nutrition. The support consists of 20% of the value of the purchase of the prioritised agricultural inputs, which will be reimbursed to the bank account informed by the beneficiaries, by means of a bank transfer to the branch of the Banco Agrario de Colombia selected by the beneficiaries or by postal order. The aim is to mitigate the adverse effect of the increase in the acquisition costs of agricultural inputs, promoting the continuity of productive activities and the improvement of food supply. The program aims to benefit small producers in the following priority chains: poultry (chicken - eggs), livestock (meat - milk), bananas, potatoes, rice, pigs, maize, aquaculture, cassava, sheep, goats (meat - milk), sugar cane, mango, oranges, onions, lemons, bananas (including bananito), tomatoes, pineapples, carrots, beans, tree tomatoes, strawberries, blackberries and yams.
