According to the above, the National Rural Plan of the System for the Progressive Guarantee of the Right to Food is an intersectoral policy instrument aimed at promoting, facilitating, and managing coordination and joint action among sectors and social actors who, at different levels and territorial scopes, have responsibilities and competencies in the formulation, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and oversight of public policies related to the dimensions of the human right to food. The objective of the National Rural Plan for the Progressive Guarantee of the Human Right to Food is to progressively guarantee the right to food for the rural population through coordinated, intersectoral, and articulated actions.
