Project PROAmazonía

It is a program of the Ministries of Environment and Agriculture and Livestock of Ecuador, implemented with the support of the United Nations Development Program, which links national efforts to reduce deforestation with the priority agendas and policies of the country's economic sectors. . Likewise, it promotes the sustainable and integrated management of natural resources, contributing to the eradication of poverty and sustainable human development. PROAmazonía strengthens Ecuador's position as a country committed to global efforts to combat climate change, with the 2030 Agenda and with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
