Start Date: 14/03/2016
End Date: 11/03/2019

Description

To contribute to reducing diesel consumption for electricity generation in the Galápagos Islands, while simultaneously improving the economic performance of the supply chain (small producers/collectors) of raw materials for biofuel production in rural areas of Ecuador. The expected outcome is that cooperatives of pine nut producers and collectors increase their pine nut AVP productivity in the province of Manabí and operate formally in the biofuel value chain in Ecuador.
