Improvement of strategic agricultural innovation services

Public investment project aimed at improving the strategic agricultural research and technology transfer services of Peru's public innovation system. It includes strengthening human resource capacities, a fund for strategic research, regional research and technology transfer, the modernization of the organization and of management systems and processes, the modernization of equipment at experimental stations, and a monitoring and evaluation system. Its objective is to raise the competitiveness and productivity of the agricultural sector through the development of new varieties, increased production of certified seed and the strengthening of the genetic resources bank.
