Description

The Export Complex Recovery and Development Program seeks to strengthen the competitiveness, sustainability, and export capacity of Argentina's agri-food sector through financing provided by CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean. Through strategic investments, the program promotes technological innovation, climate resilience, and productive diversification in agro-industrial complexes, contributing to job creation and sustainable territorial development.

Observations

The program has a total budget of USD 79 million, financed mainly through a USD 75 million loan from CAF, supplemented by a local contribution of USD 4 million. The initiative is currently being implemented and administered by Argentina's Ministry of Economy, with a focus on reviving production and generating employment through projects with a territorial impact.
