The General State Budget and Special Budgets 2025 constitutes the main financial planning instrument of the Salvadoran State, approved through Legislative Decrees No. 178 and No. 179 on December 17, 2024. This document presents the allocation of public resources totaling US$12,213,852,534 distributed among the Central Government (US$9,662,997,142), Non-Entrepreneurial Decentralized Institutions (US$3,236,771,081), and Non-Financial Public Enterprises (US$1,086,061,860). The budget reflects national priorities in areas such as education, health, public security, social development, and economic development support. The budget structure includes current expenditures of US$8,493,155,436, capital expenditures of US$2,158,699,143, and financial applications of US$1,407,036,685, with a focus on institutional strengthening and the provision of essential public services.
