Description

Public investment project aimed at improving beef and milk productivity of dual-purpose cattle in the districts of Sepahua, Raymondi and Tahuania (Atalaya, Ucayali, Peru), where livestock producers are predominantly Indigenous. It includes training and technical assistance in livestock management, genetic improvement through crossbreeding and artificial insemination, the establishment of demonstration plots and pasture management in silvopastoral systems, the improvement of handling, calf-rearing and milking corrals, and the strengthening of livestock producer organizations in business management and market access.
