Start Date: 17/02/2022
End Date: 11/07/2030

Description

Resolution 125 of Official Registry 818 establishes that public, private, and mixed-economy slaughterhouses must have the permanent presence of an official veterinarian or one authorized by AGROCALIDAD throughout the slaughter process, to determine the suitability of the product for human consumption. Therefore, AGROCALIDAD determines that IICA, within its training responsibilities, will be responsible for conducting workshops to strengthen technical capacities through courses for official veterinarians at slaughterhouses, thus fostering the development of appropriately implemented actions that ensure food safety.
