Description

The overall objective of this project is to develop new commercial food products, increase sales, and improve farmers' capacity to boost purchases of macambo, cassava, and other products from farmers. The project is managed by EcoDecisión, which created Canopy Bridge, a supply network that connects companies, producer associations, and community groups that buy and sell natural products, with the goal of contributing to improving quality of life, social empowerment, and the maintenance of healthy ecosystems. Canopy Bridge provides an easily accessible space with global reach, allowing potential business partners to make initial connections, build bonds of trust, and facilitate communication. Canopy Bridge works by allowing users to create and customize their profiles highlighting their capabilities, stories, and products; this allows them to receive transparent feedback from their business counterparts, in turn generating more efficient search systems.
