Argentina's First Sovereign Sustainable Thematic Bond Issuance

TThe Ministry of Economy of Argentina completed the first issuance of a sovereign sustainable thematic bond for a total awarded amount of $40,837 million in effective value. This issuance is carried out under the Sustainable Financing Framework approved by Resolution 1643/2023, which has a second-party opinion rated as "Excellent". The funds obtained will be equally allocated to finance the Hydraulic Infrastructure Development program and the Conectar Igualdad program during the 2024 fiscal year. Annual reports on fund allocation and impact with external review will be presented to ensure transparency and quantify the positive impact on environmental and social objectives.
