Fruits and Vegetables Program

The "Fruits and Vegetables" program is an initiative promoted by the Regional Ministerial Secretariat of Agriculture with the support of the Foundation for Agrarian Innovation (FIA) in the Aysén region, Chile. Through a contest, 35 investment projects focused on innovation and problem-solving in the fruit and vegetable sector were selected. The investments are mainly concentrated in infrastructure, process automation, sustainability, and irrigation, with the aim of improving productivity. The program allocates over 270 million Chilean pesos to finance these projects, of which 68% are led by women and 9% by rural youth.
