Description

The National Program of Technical Assistance and Rural Extension in Family Agriculture and Agrarian Reform (PRONATER) aims to organize and execute technical assistance and rural extension services (ATER) aimed at family farmers and beneficiaries of agrarian reform in Brazil. This program is implemented in collaboration with the State Councils for Sustainable Development and Family Agriculture, as well as with executing entities that may be public or private, previously accredited. The objective is to promote sustainable rural development; support economic initiatives that promote regional and local potential and vocations; increase the production, quality and productivity of agricultural and non-agricultural activities and services, including agro-extractive, forestry and artisanal activities.
