Program to increase the competitiveness of the sugar sector in the NOA (PROICSA)

PROICSA is a comprehensive program that seeks to foster and promote the competitiveness of the NOA sugarcane sector. It focuses on encouraging sustainable bioethanol production and supporting small sugarcane producers and their organizations. Financed by CAF and several national ministries, the program is implemented through agreements with BICE, the provincial ministries of Tucumán and Jujuy, INTA, the Union of Independent Sugarcane Growers of Jujuy and Salta, and the Obispo Colombres Agroindustrial Experimental Station.
