Description

The Regional Phytosanitary Intelligence Center project of the Andean Community seeks to strengthen pest management and prevention in the region. Its main objective is to offer support to producers and health authorities for early and effective decision-making in the event of possible outbreaks or incursions of pests. , the project aims to establish a technologically advanced system for the monitoring and evaluation of phytosanitary risks, improving coordination between the member countries of the Andean Community. The plan involves the creation of an intelligence network that will allow member countries to share and analyze phytosanitary data efficiently, using technological tools to facilitate information management. The proposal has been structured to respond not only to the needs of pest monitoring and prevention, but also to adapt to future health threats in agriculture.
