Description
Applied research project to sustainably intensify dual-purpose cattle farming in the Amazon of Peru and Ecuador through feed supplementation with local agro-industrial residues. It characterizes production systems, evaluates the effect of supplementation on animal productivity and methane emissions, and analyzes the life cycle of the systems, with training, technology transfer and a virtual innovation platform.
