Description

Public investment project to improve access by small and medium-scale agricultural producers to research and technology transfer services for the management and recovery of degraded agricultural soils and irrigation water. The intervention includes construction of a specialized soil and water laboratory and a greenhouse module; acquisition of laboratory equipment, materials, furniture and vehicles; development of 76 research studies on soil quality and recovery, irrigation water quality and management, crop water requirements, cartography and geographic information systems, irrigation systems, environmental effects of agrochemicals and ecological restoration; as well as training, technology transfer and demonstration plots for small and medium-scale agricultural producers.
