More Investment Program for Irrigation II - Improvement of Traditional and Technological Irrigation (MIRIEGO II)

The program aims to sustainably increase the income of beneficiary families, through increased agricultural production and productivity, with investments in the modernization of irrigation in Bolivia. It is aimed at the execution of specific projects that meet eligibility criteria defined in the program's operating manual. The program covers various activities grouped into key components: Investments in irrigation systems for the development of technical irrigation with a basin approach. Initial consolidation of the Cuenca Production Irrigation System to support the sustainability and self-management of irrigation systems, and operating and administrative expenses that include operational and administrative costs directly assignable to the program.
