STRENGTHENING THE PHYTOSANITARY AND SAFETY SYSTEM IN PRIORITY VALUE CHAINS

The project seeks to contribute to the improvement of chili, eggplant, and tomato exports in the Dominican Republic and Haiti and thereby support Dominican-Haitian families to improve their income and reduce their families' poverty level. This will be done by working on the development of a system oriented towards safety and quality for the tomato, eggplant and chili chains, which will encourage an increase in exports from these chains to international and national markets.
