Georeferencing as an environmental safeguarding tool A georeferenced information system made it possible to monitor the location of funded initiatives and their compatibility with protected areas. This facilitates the exclusion of sensitive zones or the definition of timely mitigation measures. Link
Natural resource baseline for measuring environmental changes Establishing a baseline of the territory's natural resources allows for the quantitative evaluation of changes resulting from interventions. This is key for projects focused on the sustainable management of natural resources. Link
Insufficient organizational maturity limits the strengthening of social capital Most of the beneficiary organizations were created during the implementation phase, without time to consolidate their organizational capacity. It is recommended to assess organizational maturity from the outset and invest in its consolidation as a prerequisite. Link
Integration of the territorial approach with community-led development The territorial approach has proven effective in fostering participation, but its sustainability depends on the long-term commitment of local governments.
