Institutional Policy for Gender Equality of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of El Salvador

The policy seeks to mainstream gender aspects in the organizational culture and the MAGs work to provide inclusive services and advance towards gender equality in the agricultural sector and rural areas; through institutional and organizational transformation, capacity building in rights and gender equality, the incorporation of the gender perspective in planning and the allocation of resources in MAG strategies, and socio-productive development for the reduction of gender inequality in rural areas.
