The Comprehensive Policy for Disaster Risk Management, adjusted and harmonized with the conceptual and action frameworks derived from the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, faces the challenge of generating a Resilient Region in harmony with the environment for present and future generations, reducing poverty and inequalities, and thus advancing towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a holistic, inclusive, and multidimensional perspective.
