El Salvador National Action Plan 2018-2020

Since 2009, the Government of El Salvador has been promoting concrete actions to ensure that the Salvadoran population adopts a culture based on transparency and accountability in the exercise of State functions. In compliance with the Law on Access to Public Information (LAIP), in force since 2011, the Executive Branch has encouraged different State institutions to make available to citizens a vast amount of information for their scrutiny.
