Regional Climate Change Adaptation Strategy for La Libertad Region

The Regional Climate Change Adaptation Strategy for La Libertad Region establishes guidelines and measures to reduce the vulnerability of the population and territory to climate change impacts and strengthen regional adaptive capacity. The strategy is structured around six strategic areas related to biodiversity management, transport, risk management, water management, capacity building, and energy. It also promotes the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, stronger ecosystems and environmental services, climate risk reduction, improved water resources management, institutional and social capacity building, research and information for adaptation, and the integration of climate considerations into regional management and planning.
