The project focused on building the capacity of rural women to manage their businesses, communicate their issues to influence policy, and improve the climate proofing of their businesses by conducting awareness-raising meetings, training workshops, establishing a network of women with small businesses based on natural resource use, allocating grants to implement measures to build resilience to climate change, documenting previous experiences in case studies, preparing a policy brief for policy makers, and presenting the findings in a policy brief to policy makers, the allocation of grants to implement climate resilience measures, the documentation of previous experiences in case studies, the preparation of a policy brief for policymakers, and the presentation of project findings to stakeholders and at regional forums.
