NDC: Nationally Determined Contribution of Panama

Panama's NDC is built on three key aspirations: the commitment to generate a climate policy that is not generic, but has measurable, verifiable and reportable indicators to prioritise and evaluate policies across the national economy; breaking with the dichotomy or separation between mitigation and adaptation, fostering multidisciplinarity, complementarity and multisectorality, through an integrated adaptation-mitigation approach; linking climate action with efforts to reduce inequality and poverty, enhancing a green and resilient economic recovery.
