List and map of Canadian regions prescribed for the 2026 Livestock Tax Deferral. It covers consolidated census subdivisions in Alberta, British Columbia, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Northwest Territories and Quebec. The provision allows farmers in prescribed regions to defer income arising from sales of breeding livestock due to drought, excess moisture or flooding.
