Venezuela Food Security and Livelihoods Cluster

Start Date: 2019
End Date: N/A

Description

The Food Security and Livelihoods Cluster began operations in Venezuela in May 2019 as part of the Humanitarian Country Team architecture and in the context of the Humanitarian Response Plan. Co-led by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP), it brings together national and international humanitarian partners to improve the quality and impact of assistance to people affected by the crisis and to promote coherent, coordinated and integrated responses driven by food security and livelihood needs. In 2026, the Cluster continues to support efforts to improve self-sufficiency and access to food for the country's most vulnerable populations.
