Venezuela Earthquakes: Addendum to the 2026 Humanitarian Response Plan

The addendum to the 2026 Humanitarian Response Plan sets out the Humanitarian Country Team strategy for responding over six months to the impact of the earthquakes that struck north-central Venezuela on 24 June 2026. It aims to assist 1.3 million people and requires an additional USD 299 million to complement activities already included in the 2026 HRP, increasing total financial requirements from USD 632 million to USD 931 million and the overall target population from 5.5 million to 6.2 million. The response addresses multisectoral needs including health, safe water, food security, protection, shelter and psychosocial support.
