Peru: Supreme Decree No. 019-2025-MIDAGRI - Regulations of Law No. 31339, Law that promotes the industrialization of agriculture

This regulation implements Law 31339 to drive the industrialization of Peru's agricultural sector through two central instruments: the National Agro-Industrial Competitiveness Plan (COMPEAGRO), which will set diagnostics, objectives, and priority projects over a five-year term, and the Agro-Industrial Economic Development Map by department, which will guide public and private investment based on each territory's potential. It gives priority standing to family-farming production units registered in MIDAGRI's Agricultural Producers Registry, promotes their integration into formal agro-industrial value chains, and enables COFIDE to offer second-tier credit lines aimed at investment in agri-food industrialization.
