Ministerial Resolution No. 388-2026-MINSA: Publication of the Draft Amendment to Article 119 of Peru's Food and Beverage Sanitary Surveillance and Control Regulation

Ministerial Resolution No. 388-2026-MINSA, published on April 18, 2026, orders the publication of a draft supreme decree proposing an amendment to Article 119 of the Food and Beverage Sanitary Surveillance and Control Regulation, originally approved by Supreme Decree No. 007-98-SA, together with its explanatory memorandum. The proposal addresses sanitary requirements for food-contact packaging materials with the aim of strengthening food safety protection.
