Modernised Global Agreement (MGA) and Interim Trade Agreement (ITA) between Mexico and the European Union

Trade and cooperation policy framework between Mexico and the European Union modernising the Global Agreement in force since 2000. The MGA and ITA incorporate updated disciplines on trade, trade facilitation, services, investment, digital trade, sustainable development, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, rules of origin, anti-corruption and public procurement. The agreement expands agri-food market access, strengthens value chains and improves legal certainty for trade and investment.
