National contingency plan led by the Ministries of Environment and Water, Rural Development and Land, and Defense to address drought intensified by the La Niña (ENSO) phenomenon, ongoing since August 2020. The El Niño/La Niña-driven water deficit left 153 municipalities on alert. It coordinates preparedness, early warning, response and rehabilitation under the SISRADE framework, prioritizing water for human, animal and irrigation use plus agricultural input supply.
