Law No. 602 on Disaster Risk Management - Bolivia

Framework law regulating the institutional and jurisdictional structure of disaster risk management in Bolivia, covering risk reduction (prevention, mitigation, recovery) and emergency response (preparedness, alert, response, rehabilitation). It establishes the SISRADE system, the CONARADE council, the FORADE trust fund and the SINAGER-SAT information system, distributing competencies between the central level and autonomous territorial entities. It mainstreams climate change and ancestral knowledge and prioritizes the protection of life.
