The Bolivia Productive and Resilient Strategic Plan 2026-2030, presented on 25 February 2026 by Bolivia Ministry of Productive Development, Rural Affairs and Water, sets out a roadmap to promote productive transformation, competitiveness, sustainability, and economic and climate resilience. Its main priorities include strengthening micro, small and medium-sized enterprises through a territorial and inclusive approach; fostering public-private coordination to improve industrial competitiveness; developing agricultural value chains and industrialization; modernizing air, road and river logistics infrastructure; expanding technologically improved irrigation to reduce climate vulnerability; and promoting integrated water management in support of food sovereignty. The plan incorporates innovation, circular economy principles, resource efficiency and value addition as elements of productive transformation. Its presentation was supported by the United Nations Development Programme and international cooperation partners, with potential collaboration in knowledge transfer, technical assistance, exchange of experiences and financing mobilization. Expected outcomes include stronger MSMEs, productive diversification, improved competitiveness and logistics, higher productivity, more efficient resource use and greater climate resilience. The plan has national scope and a 2026-2030 planning horizon.
