Description

El Salvador's Second Report constitutes an accountability document on compliance with obligations arising from the Protocol of San Salvador regarding economic, social and cultural rights. This report presents the progress, challenges and measures implemented by the Salvadoran State to guarantee the right to work, social security, health, education, food and other fundamental rights. The document includes public policies, social programs and regulatory frameworks developed to protect and promote these rights in the population. It also addresses social inclusion measures and inequality reduction as part of the international commitment assumed. Finally, it establishes the foundations for monitoring and evaluating progress in the implementation of these fundamental human rights.
