Fecha de inicio: 11/05/2023
Fecha de fin: N/A

Description

The Institutional Supply Program (PAI) Regulations establish the rules for the supply and distribution of agricultural, fishery and aquaculture products to Costa Rican public sector entities, prioritizing products from micro, small and medium-sized national producers. The PAI, operated by the National Production Council (CNP), acts as an intermediary between suppliers and public entities, guaranteeing quality and efficient supply through direct contracting and regulated prices. In addition, the regulations detail procedures for the selection of suppliers, who must meet specific standards and undergo periodic verifications, with the aim of strengthening the institutional market and supporting rural development.
