Description
The Technical Standard aims to define the specifications, requirements and characteristics that processed or melted cheese, mozzarella cheese, evaporated milk and condensed milk must meet, in accordance with the definitions contained in this legal framework. This regulation applies to these products when they are intended for direct human consumption or for further processing within the territory of Guatemala, whether they are locally produced or imported. The standard establishes specific guidelines on the composition, maximum limits of contaminants and residues of veterinary drugs and pesticides, as well as hygiene, labeling, packaging, storage, among other requirements.
