Legislative Decree No. 819 Law for the acquisition and consumption of fluid milk and its derivatives, by institutions that manage public funds

The Law for the Acquisition and Consumption of Fluid Milk and its Derivatives, decreed by the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador, has as its main objective to regulate the consumption and state purchase of fluid milk and its derivatives produced in the country, in order to stimulate the domestic economy and support national producers. The law establishes that public institutions and private entities that manage public resources must acquire these products from national producers that comply with health and safety requirements.
