Supreme Decree No. 29315 – Creation of Four Decentralized Units for the Implementation of Programs and Projects

Supreme Decree establishing four Decentralized Units under the Ministry of Rural Development, Agriculture and Environment for the implementation of programs and projects: PASA, responsible for the Sembrar and Criar programs supporting food production within the framework of food security and sovereignty and prioritizing municipalities affected by extreme poverty; EMPODERAR, aimed at promoting rural productive development of territorial and economic organizations; SUSTENTAR, responsible for programs for nature conservation and sustainable use of natural resources; and DICOCA, responsible for the Integral Development with Coca program in coca-leaf producing areas. The Units administer, implement, monitor and evaluate programs and projects, provide information, enter into agreements and may carry out monetary or in-kind transfers, including public-private transfers.
