Supreme Decree No. 3639 – Promotion of the Economic and Productive Activities of Community Economic Organizations (OECOMs)

Supreme Decree No. 3639 promotes the economic and productive activities of Bolivia's Community Economic Organizations (OECOMs) and their access to markets and public procurement within the framework of the community economy and sustainable family farming. The Decree establishes measures to facilitate sanitary and phytosanitary certification and product registration; promote the Bolivian Social Seal and preferential access for OECOM products in private retail outlets; provide technical assistance and market access; promote ecological production and the sustainable use of biodiversity and forests; generate market price information; incorporate OECOMs into productive policies and plans; and facilitate their participation in public procurement and registration through RUNAF.
