Law No. 811 Chain organizations in the agricultural, fishing, forestry, and aquaculture sectors, and agrarian transformation companies (Colombia)

This Law creates chain organizations in the agricultural, fishing, forestry, and aquaculture sectors in order to improve productivity and competitiveness, develop the market for goods and factors in the chain, improve information among chain agents, link small producers and businessmen to the chain, and manage natural resources and the environment; Likewise, it creates the agricultural transformation companies (SAT) with the objective of developing post-harvest activities and commercialization of perishable products of agricultural origin.
