National Plan to Support and Consolidate Income Generation in the Peasant, Family and Community Economy

The National Plan to Support and Consolidate Income Generation in the Peasant, Family and Community Economy (PNgi-ECFC), adopted through Resolution 000209 of 2020, is one of Colombia’s National Plans for Comprehensive Rural Reform arising from the Final Peace Agreement. Its objective is to increase income generation in the peasant, family and community economy by strengthening rural entrepreneurship, productive associations, access to finance and risk management as mechanisms for productive inclusion. The Plan includes seed capital and co-financing, preferential credit, guarantees, agricultural insurance, business capacity building, rural associations, technical assistance, institutional coordination, commercialization and monitoring, incorporating differentiated approaches based on gender, age and ethnic background.
