Law 2071 of 2020 – Financing Measures for the Recovery of the Agricultural, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Forestry and Agro-industrial Sectors

Law 2071 of 2020 establishes financing measures to support the recovery of small and medium-sized agricultural, fisheries, aquaculture, forestry and agro-industrial producers affected by phytosanitary, zoosanitary, biological, climatic or income-related shocks and other events beyond their control. The law provides mechanisms for debt recovery and restructuring, interest forgiveness and principal reductions, special relief for FONSA and PRAN debtors, temporary suspension of collection proceedings, economic support for indebted producers and prioritization criteria for rural women.
