Law No. 6603 - Support and assistance to community kitchens organized throughout the territory of the Republic of Paraguay during the pandemic declared by the World Health Organization due to COVID-19.

Law No. 6603 aims to provide support and assistance from the Paraguayan State to the community kitchens organized by communities throughout the territory of the Republic of Paraguay, in order to address the negative social and economic consequences resulting from the quarantine decreed by the Executive Power to mitigate the health crisis caused by COVID-19. The acquisition and distribution of food supplies will be carried out by the National Emergency Secretariat (SEN), the Ministry of Social Development (MDS), and the Paraguayan Indigenous Institute (INDI). The purchase of food from Family Agriculture will be prioritized, using streamlined procedures that ensure the acquisitions for this purpose.
