Description

Budget Program 0121 seeks to benefit 839,468 agricultural producers in the 24 regions of the country, prioritizing those who have less than 20 ha under irrigation or 50 ha of rainfed land in the coast and highlands, less than 50 ha in the high jungle and less than 115 ha in the low jungle, provided that they use more than 50% of their production for commercialization. The program's goals are to strengthen the business management of producers' organizations, encourage the adoption of appropriate technologies, facilitate access to formal financial services and agricultural information, promote participation in trade promotion spaces, and implement quality management systems with good agricultural and livestock practices. The General Directorate of Agricultural Development and Agroecology (DGDAA) is the technical entity responsible for its execution.
