Peru: National Environmental Education Policy

The National Environmental Education Policy, approved by Supreme Decree No. 017-2012-ED, aims to promote environmental education and culture in the country, in order to form a citizenry committed to caring for the environment. This policy seeks to contribute to the development of a sustainable, inclusive, competitive Peruvian society with identity, through the promotion of values, knowledge and responsible practices in relation to the environment.
