Peru: Rural and Indigenous Women's Entrepreneurship Strategy 2025 (EEMRI 2025)

Strategy of Peru's Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation approved through Ministerial Resolution No. 0029-2025-MIDAGRI to promote the economic autonomy of organized rural and Indigenous women producers. The intervention provides grants to co-finance viable agricultural, livestock and forestry entrepreneurship plans implemented by women's agricultural organizations. The strategy establishes targeting and eligibility criteria, mechanisms for grant allocation and accountability, and monitoring and supervision arrangements involving MIDAGRI and AGROIDEAS. Its implementation corresponds to fiscal year 2025 and seeks to strengthen productive inclusion, market-oriented entrepreneurship and the economic participation of rural and Indigenous women.
